Name: Leslie D. LeFebvre

Occupation: Sr. Aerospace Mechanical Engineer & Project Manager.

 

What experience and qualifications do you have that would be an asset to the city?

As a City Councilor, I have developed a timely communication process with ward residents.   As an aerospace engineer for UTC, managed Aerospace Engine Component Design project teams successfully over 40 years. I have developed team communication skills, people skills, and documentation skills at UTC.  I built a Project Engineering group to 50 people over the last ten years. I have served in the 104th Army National Guard Infantry Battalion in Westfield for 6 years and grew up in Westfield and saw how Westfield grew through the years.

 

Have you recently met with city department heads to discuss their needs/concerns/budgets and if so, which ones?

As City Councilor delegate on DPW and Water Dept, worked resident concerns.  In addition, reviewed active projects status and timelines periodically.

 

What is your main concern for your ward?   

Infrastructure road conditions.

 

Why should residents vote for you? 

I address ward resident immediate concerns in a timely manner.

 

What positive effect have you had on the city?

I have seen ward resident communication increase in a positive manner.  Ward conditions are maintained.
