LETTER: Thom still serving community

To the Editor ,

We would like the community to know that the Thom Westfield Infant Toddler Services is continuing to take referrals and provide services to children and families in the following towns: Westfield, Southwick, Huntington, Montgomery, West Springfield, Granville, Middlefield, Tolland, Agawam, Blandford, Russell and Woronoco. During the COVID-19 emergency, while in-home services have been suspended, the program’s dedicated staff continue to work with families using a tele-health approach.

Early Intervention (EI) is a program for children birth to three who have developmental delays or are at risk of a developmental delay. If you are concerned about your child under the age of three, don’t hesitate to call and make a referral. The Thom Westfield staff is comprised of highly experienced clinical professionals who can support your child and family.

All early intervention services are provided at no cost to the family.  You do not need a referral from a pediatrician.  If you have questions or want to make a referral, you can call the program directly at: (413) 568-3942 or refer online at thomchild.org/referrals/.

With Appreciation,

Patricia Kuzmeski, Program Director, Thom Westfield Infant Toddler Services

Maura Buglione, Director of Development, Thom Child and Family Services
