WESTFIELD – Levi J. St. Onge, Jr., 77, (1948-2026) passed away on Monday, January 5th, 2026, at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in North Troy, Vermont to Shirley (LaBounty) and the late Levi J. St. Onge, Sr.
Levi was employed as a selector for Sweet Life Foods for 23 years, worked as a truck driver for C&S Wholesale and Gaugh Trucking. Recently, he worked for Meals On Wheels for 10 years, as well as the custodian of the First United Methodist Church. He loved trains and building models, fishing and going to the beach, especially West Dennis and Yarmouth Beach on Cape Cod. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and loved family gatherings.
Levi is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia of 58 years in Westfield; his three loving children, Douglas P. St. Onge and his wife Cheryl of Westfield, Sharon K. Barnas and her husband Rich of Granby, CT and Amy L. Lopez and her husband Pablo of Westfield, a brother, John St. Onge and his wife Kristine of Belchertown, a sister, Angela Ferrando of Springfield; his cherished six grandchildren, Adrianna Carriere and her husband Dave Carriere, Frank Bovat, Shannon Hiltbrand, Krystal Hiltbrand, Shelby Marte and her husband Ken, and Megan St. Onge and her soon to be husband Liam Tash. As well as four great-grandchildren, Payton Carriere, Silas Carriere, Eliora Marte and coming soon, Saylor Mitchell. He also leaves two half-brothers, Christopher St. Onge and his wife Debbie of OK and Brian St. Onge of Agawam as well as his best friend Ronnie Miller of Westfield.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, 16 Court Street, Westfield, MA.
