Madamba predicts Jets upset of Rams, wins Week 15 contest prize

Two weeks ago, Richard Borgatti, of West Springfield correctly predicted the Washington Football Team’s upset of the Pittsburgh Steelers en route to posting a 11-1 record and becoming the Week 13 winner of our “Beat The Putz” Football Challenge.
In Week 15, one area entrant matched that feat or surpassed it – – depending on your viewpoint – – with a surprise selection of the hapless, winless, and downright hopeless N.Y. Jets.
This past week, Sandra Madamba, of Chicopee posted an impressive 11-1 record. Madamba predicted that the Jets would upset the L.A. Rams. Her only loss was the New England Patriots, who fell to the Miami Dolphins.
Madamba was one of six entrants who went 11-1 in Week 15. Her tiebreaker total of 39 points came closest to the final tiebreaker total of 26 posted in the Browns-Giants Sunday night game.
Week 16 presents some more challenges, including one of the week’s most intriguing matchups featuring the suddenly slumping Steelers (11-3), who have lost three straight games since opening the season 11-0, and the Indianapolis Colts (10-4).
A battle of two first-place teams, the AFC South’s Tennessee Titans (10-4) and NFC North’s Green Bay Packers (11-3), will take place on Sunday night. That game will serve as our tiebreaker.
