Mary Ann Aldrich

AGAWAM: Mary Ann (Lipinsky) Aldrich, 79, (1941-2021) passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Chicopee to the late Louis and Frances (Walas) Lipinsky and was a graduate of Chicopee High School. Mary Ann was employed as the office manager for Dr. Chanel Bouchereau, a vascular surgeon, for 20 years. Mary Ann loved to shop, playing the piano and organ, doing ceramics and the Christmas holiday. She enjoyed time at the Agawam Senior Center, card nights with friends and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed living as a snowbird, spending winters in Boynton Beach, Florida and summers in Agawam.

She was predeceased by her first husband Raymond Breault in 2018 and her second husband Carl Aldrich in 2004, her sisters, Sophie Lipinsky and Dorothy Rahilly and a brother Edward Lipinsky. Mary Ann is survived by her children, Linda A. Brouillette and her husband Richard of Westfield, Suzanne M. Gonthier of Agawam, Steven L. Aldrich and his wife Debra of Westfield and Gary L. Aldrich and his wife Melissa of Granby, MA, her six cherished grandchildren, Robert Goodman, III and Nicholas Gonthier, Brody and Katherine Aldrich and Delaney and Derek Aldrich, her sister Helene Otis of Springfield and her 10-year companion, Francis (Frank) Payeur of Agawam.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45 AM from the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St., Westfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, Main St., Agawam. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Main St., Agawam. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 12-3 PM in the funeral home.
