WESTFIELD – Mary Jane Gogol, 85, died Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, in Baystate Noble Hospital. She was born on January 17th, 1941, to the late Andrew and Helen (Wojtkiewicz) Boylan. She was a lifelong resident of Westfield and attended St. Mary’s Schools and was a 1959 graduate of St. Mary’s High School.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert S. Gogol in 2012. She leaves her children Deborah Daniels and her husband John, John Gogol and wife Donna, Stephen Gogol all of Westfield and Gregory Gogol and wife Marcy of South Chatham, MA. She also leaves her grandchildren Andrew, Caitlin and Molly Daniels, Patrick, Ethan and Nora Gogol, Alexander Gogol and Megan and Emma Gogol.
The funeral for Mary Jane will be held on Tuesday, September 15th. A calling hour will be held from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
