Michael P. Muranko

WESTFIELD – Michael Paul Muranko. A graveside service for Michael Paul Muranko will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Johns Cemetery on Lockhouse Road in Westfield. Calling hours are omitted. He was the son of Paul and Stacia (Gorska) Muranko.
He leaves his loving wife of 58 years, Wanda (Ryll) Muranko; a daughter, Karen who resided in Alhambra, California; a grandson, Michael and a sister, Rose Fappiano along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his daughter, Kathy and his sisters, Jean, Helen and Wanda.
He graduated from Westfield Vocational High School and was a toolmaker for B&E Tool. After retirement he worked at Stanley Park as a park ranger. He served in the United States Army as a sergeant during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his close friends in Vermont and New York. He was a communicant of the Grace Lutheran Church.
