WESTFIELD – On Wednesday, the students were gone but the best online casino trees their classes and staff put on display in the Middle School South’s library for the Festival of Trees were still standing.
Principal Justin Baker and brand new Assistant Principal Mara Colon (who started on Monday) stood among the brightly lit offerings, representing math, science, reading, ELL and world cultures classes. Also represented were the school’s nurses, cafeteria workers, gym teachers, and custodians including Chris Swords, who stood next to their tree.
Eighth grade math students solved 21 linear equations to form their towering paper chain link tree.
This is the second year for the Festival of Trees at the school, a project initiated by Terry Convery, Media Center director.
