The good news for two lucky contestants: they finished Week 5 tied atop the leaderboard with 9-3 records. The bad news for those two not-so-lucky contestants: so did I.
First the first time in eons nobody beat “The Putz” as I posted a somewhat untouchable 9-3 mark. (I was tied, so my boasts only carry so much weight.)
With that being said, we turn the page to Week 6 of the National Football League.
In a somewhat surprising showdown of first place teams in the AFC East, New England travels to New York to take on the Jets in a battle of 3-2 teams.
One of the division’s other two loss team, the Miami Dolphins (2-2) play at the 3-1 Atlanta Falcons. The Buffalo Bills (3-2) are off.
In the marquee late game, pro football’s only unbeaten, the Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) battle the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
In our featured Sunday night football tiebreaker game, the lowly New York Giants (minus Beckham and Marshall) try to play the Denver Broncos in Mile High.
Good luck to Big Blue … and to you! – CAP
