Pasta dinner to benefit Dog Bark

WESTFIELD – The members of American Legion Post No. 124 will come to the aid of the Westfield Dog Bark Friends on Friday, Nov. 18, when they host a fundraising pasta dinner for the Dog Bark, a playground for dogs.
The Dog Bark Friends is a volunteer group working to establish an off-leash canine playground which they have named the Dog Bark.
The group has secured the permission of the Westfield Parks and Recreation Commission to build the Dog Bark on part of the currently unused Arms Brook Park on the north side of the city off Arch Road and is working to gather the funds necessary to construct the dog park.
The pasta supper at the legion post at 38 Broad Street will be offered from 5-8 p.m. for $10 and will feature music by Fran Liptak.
A raffle will be staged for prizes including Falcons hockey tickets. A 50/50 raffle will also be offered.
