WESTFIELD – Phyllis French, 90, passed away peacefully on May 26th, 2026. She was born on October 1st, 1935, to the late William and Sadie Dennis.
Phyllis enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to those closest to her.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved son Kevin French of Wilbraham; and her beloved daughter Debra DeMars of Westfield; and her grandchildren Tiffany, Devon, Ricky, Bria, Hannah, and Cody. She also leaves several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She leaves nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Phyllis was the youngest and only daughter of her parents Sadie and William Dennis–both deceased. She had two older brothers Robert Dennis and Louis Lindsey who are also both deceased.
Services for Phyllis will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd from 10-11 a.m. in Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA. A funeral home service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Russell Cemetery in the family plot. www.firtionadams.com
