The entire region was deemed the true winner Sunday with the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox winning epic matchups.
While the Red Sox evened up their American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros 1-1, the Patriots won a barnburner against the Kansas City Chiefs.
There was another winner though.
Robert Piper went 12-1 in Sunday NFL action to garner his second win of the 2018 season. Piper was two games better than my 10-3 mark.
Piper and every other weekly winner will receive a gift certificate to The Tavern Restaurant and be eligible for the grand prize drawing, a Super Bowl party catered by the North Elm Butcher Block.
