9:51 a.m.: animal complaint, Pumpkin Lane, a caller reports a stray dog, the responding animal control officer reports a brown German shepherd dog was transported to the municipal animal shelter;
10:10 a.m.: animal complaint, Wintergreen Lane, a caller reports a stray small white dog, the responding animal control officer reports an altered male Shih Tzu dog was transported to the municipal animal shelter;
1:05 p.m.: vandalism, Springfield Road, a caller reports his car was vandalized in a Springfield Road parking lot, the responding officer reports a review of the store’s security video showed nobody had approached the complainant’s vehicle;
4:39 p.m.: larceny, Springfield Road, a caller from a Springfield Road department store requests an officer for a shoplifter, the responding officer reports that he was advised that the suspect abandoned the merchandise when confronted, a ‘No trespassing’ order was served;
5:04 p.m.: larceny, Monroe Street, a resident came to the station to complain that prescription medication was stolen from her home, the responding officer reports a suspect has been identified and a ‘show cause’ hearing has been scheduled to determine if charges are warranted;
6:13 p.m.: officer wanted, Whitaker Road, a caller reports his mailbox was damaged by a passing vehicle, the responding officer reports he spoke with a motorist who was unaware that his load was protruding and had struck and damaged several mailboxes;
8:59 p.m.: disturbance, Washington Street, a caller reports a disturbance involving college-aged residents, the responding officer reports about 12 people were found and a city ordinance violation citation was issued for keeping a disorderly house;
9:37 p.m.: larceny, East Main Street, a resident came to the station to complain that her cellphone was stolen at her workplace, the responding officer reports the complainant said that her cellphone had been unattended while she was working and was found to be missing when she went to retrieve it;
11:26 p.m.: disturbance, School Street, a caller reports a disturbance, the responding officer reports a pizza delivery person said that a college-aged man grabbed a pizza from him and fled on foot, the officer reports the complainant said that he does not wish to pursue criminal charges;
11:59 p.m.: liquor law violation, Church Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a woman empty a plastic cup when she saw his cruiser, the officer reports that although the woman said that the cup had contained lemonade he determined that it also contained alcohol, a city ordinance violation citation was issued.
