Major crime and incident report

1:38 p.m.:
motor vehicle accident, arrest, East Mountain Road, special police officer working a tree-clearing detail reports that a motorist failed to follow directions and collided with a commercial wood chipper, officer reports motorist was given a field sobriety test which she failed, Lynn Furioni, 54, of 24 Grandview Drive charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, unsafe passing and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, vehicle towed from scene;
5:49 p.m.: breaking and entering, 35 South Maple St., resident reports garage entered and an off-street motorcycle taken, incident under investigation by detective bureau;
7:31 p.m.: assault, 15 Spring St., caller reports that two men slapped his younger brother across the face and threatened him, caller provided a description of two Hispanic men and their clothing and the fact that one man had visible tattoos, officer reports area search negative, victim advised to contact department if he sees the suspects again;
8:05 p.m.: motor vehicle accident with personal injury, officer reports a subject was operating her vehicle south on Mechanic Street and attempted to Cross Main Street to enter the Cumberland Farms gas station and convenience store at 69 Main Street when her vehicle entered the path of an eastbound vehicle and the two collided, the eastbound vehicle striking the driver’s side of the vehicle exiting Mechanic Street, officer requested Fire Department medical assistance, two ambulance dispatched, operator of the vehicle exiting Mechanic Street was transported to Noble Hospital for treatment;
10:43 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, medical transport, East Silver Street, patrol officer observed a motor vehicle being driven erratically and stopped the vehicle which was transporting a child with a medical problem to Noble Hospital, officer requested the Fire Department to dispatch an ambulance for transport to Noble Hospital, motorist issued a verbal warning.
