Emergency response and crime report

12:15 p.m.: missing person, Colonial Pine Acres, 50 Southampton Road, a resident came to the station to report his 18-year-old son is missing, the responding officer reports the father said that his son left to pick up up his paycheck on Dec. 3 and hasn’t been seen since, the responding detective reports that on Thursday the missing man was reported to be living in Connecticut;
2:46 p.m.: animal complaint, Dubois Street, a resident came to the station to surrender a stray female black and white cat he found at his door, the responding manger of animal control operations reports that the cat was transported to the municipal animal shelter;
10:34 p.m.: breaking and entering, Colfax Street, a caller reports a larceny from an area he rents, the responding officer reports he found the fence around the area was hanging and tracks in the snow led to a tarp covered collection of items, the complainant said that a generator, wheel rim, tools and other items had been stolen;
11:21 p.m.: breaking and entering, North Elm Street, a Springfield resident came to the station to complain that his pickup truck was broken into at his workplace, the responding officer reports the passenger side window of the pickup was smashed but nothing was reported to have been stolen.
