12:57 a.m.: College-related disturbance and arrest, Washington Street. Police received a report of a loud party with multiple people in the roadway on Washington Street. According to the first officer on scene, an estimated 200 or more people were in attendance at the party and police were previously at this residence earlier in the evening for similar complaints. Police gave multiple citations to the renters of the apartment where the party had occurred, as well as at least two citations to people under 21 possessing liquor.

11:30 a.m.: Accident, North Road. A two-vehicle accident involving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2013 Ford Econoline van occurred on North Road. The accident occurred when one of the vehicles slipped on ice, striking the other vehicle. Police also reported that two people were injured in the accident. Westfield Fire paramedics responded to the scene via ambulance and transported the two injured parties to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

3:02 p.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a report from a resident who claimed that someone who was staying with them temporarily on Sackett Street had stolen a desktop computer from their residence, along with other possible items. The suspect then may have left the country, fleeing to Italy. The loss was estimated at about $1,500.

9:02 p.m.: Officer wanted arrest, Walmart, Springfield Road. Police received a report of a taxi passenger who reportedly would not pay the fare following a ride in the taxi. Officers arrived and found Luis A. Baez, 32, of Springfield, walking down the street away from the taxi. Police reported that Baez had a warrant out for his arrest and he was thus arrested on that, but no report of being charged with evading fare.
