2:10 p.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a report from a person who claimed their wallet was stolen, possibly at Walmart. Did not notice missing until they went to check out. The incident is under investigation.
3:37 p.m.: Arrest, Elm Street. Police reported that they arrested Carlos Noel, 18, and John A. Sein, III, 21, both of Westfield, in relation to an alleged assault that occurred Dec. 16. Both were charged with unarmed robbery, assault and battery and assault and battery with dangerous weapon, according to police log. Noel later faced an additional charge.
