6:36 a.m.: Accident, Park Square. Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a 1999 Jeep Grand Laredo and 2008 Dodge Charger. According to the report, the operator of the Charger was looking for oncoming traffic and did not realize the vehicle in front of him, the Laredo, had slowed, thus causing a minor rear-end collision. No injuries were reported but one vehicle required a tow.

4:39 p.m.: Hit-and-run accident, Elm Street. Police received a report from a person who claimed that their vehicle was sideswiped by a dark colored pick-up truck while in a parking lot on Elm Street. There was no license plate information provided and the victim said that the other vehicle may not have damage on it. No arrest made at the time of the report.

5:21 p.m.: Accident, Lockhouse Road. Police received a report of a 2011 Nissan Altima that had collided with a telephone pole. Police were told that there was one occupant who was injured. Westfield Police and Fire departments responded, including an ambulance. The driver was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital by Westfield Fire paramedics.

7:57 p.m.: Officer wanted, North Elm Street. Police received a report from a taxi driver that their customer was reportedly refusing to pay the fare for their service. The driver claimed to have given the other unnamed party a ride from Springfield to Westfield, and upon arrival in Westfield the other party claimed to have no money. Police filed a criminal complaint related to evading fare, but no arrests were made.
