12:51 a.m.: liquor law violation, Kellogg Street, a community policing officer reports a liquor law violation, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
9:17 a.m.: animal complaint, East Mountain Road, a caller reports loose horses, the responding officer reports stable hands corralled the horses;
12:50 p.m. disturbance, Riverside Drive, a Huntington resident came to the station to report her son may be in danger, the responding officer reports the woman said that her son’s live-in girlfriend has threatened to kill him in his sleep, the officer reports he spoke with the caller’s son who said that in the past he has been awakened by his girlfriend striking or choking him, the man was advised of his protective order options but did not immediately avail himself of any of those options;
1:12 p.m.: fire, Otis Street, a caller reports a chimney fire, the responding firefighters report smoke was showing from the walls near the chimney, the walls were opened to check for fire and firefighters found the chimney had overheated and ignited the walls, the fire was extinguished;
3:56 p.m.: disturbance, Morris Avenue, a caller reports that her neighbor said that her boyfriend broke a beer bottle over her head, the responding officer reports the complainant said that her boyfriend had been drinking excessively and when she confronted him a verbal dispute erupted which became physical and the man struck her head with a beer can, the woman said that the altercation occurred in the presence of their three-month-old child, the officer spoke with the male party by phone and the man said that the woman instigated the disturbance, the man agreed to come to the station but did not do so, the officer reports a criminal complaint for assault and battery in a domestic relations and for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon were filed, the Department of Children and Families was notified;
4:49 p.m.: larceny, Farnham Lane, a resident came to the station to report jewelry was stolen, the responding officer reports the complainant said that she confronted a family member who has been caught stealing from her in the past, the suspect’s probation officer was advised;
8:06 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Main Street, a patrol office reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to have been revoked for lack of insurance and it was towed to the police impound yard;
11:44 p.m.: liquor law violation, School Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a male party walking on School Street with a backpack, the officer reports he approached and heard clanking sounds as if there were glass bottles in the backpack, the officer reports the man who was found to be 19-years-old displayed classic symptoms of alcohol intoxication and eventually admitted there was alcohol in the backpack, Connor Fillmore Graham, 19, of 124 Holmes Road, Lennox, was arrested for being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor.
