8:31 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Parker Avenue, a patrol officer reports he encountered an uncleared sidewalk on Parker Avenue and left a city ordinance violation citation warning at the residence, similar concerns were addressed at a second Parker Avenue address and on Pochassic Street, Murray Avenue, Willow Brook Lane (2), Prospect Street Extension and Kane Brothers Circle (2);
10:46 a.m.: vandalism, Old Pochassic Street, a patrol officer reports he encountered graffiti tagging on the Drug Store Hill Bridge, three nearby buildings and two commercial rubbish receptacles, the community policing officer for the area was notified to advise the business owners on Monday;
2:07 p.m.: larceny, Springfield Road, a security employee for a Springfield Road department store reports that a female shoplifter has been detained and merchandise valued at more than $180 has been recovered, the responding officer reports store officials served the suspect with a ‘No trespassing’ order and filed a criminal complaint;
3:48 p.m.: assist resident, Morris Avenue, a resident came to the station to report that her foster son took her car keys and used her vehicle without authority, the responding officer reports the boy was involved in a vehicular crash in Springfield and was arrested there;
7:08 p.m.: suspicious activity, Cabot Road, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle pull into a field where the lights were extinguished, the officer reports the operator was advised to relieve himself in a nearby gas station rather than the field.
