3:21 a.m.: assist citizen, Springdale Road, a courtesy transport to his Springdale Road home was provided for a person released from protective custody;
9:10 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Main Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired and it was towed;
9:49 a.m.: annoying phone calls, Valley View Drive, a caller reports receiving numerous telemarketing calls from the same number, the responding officer reports the caller was advised to contact the telephone carrier to block the calls;
11:57 a.m.: vandalism, Montgomery Street, a caller reports her mailbox was knocked down overnight, the responding officer reports that the caller also reported additional vandalism in that the antenna was broken off from her vehicle;
1:16 p.m.: vandalism, Main Street, a caller reports windows were holed by apparent BB impacts, the responding officer reports he spoke with a local youth who denied shooting the windows but said a friend might be responsible, the officer reports the boy’s father took custody of the BB gun, the officer reports the workers reporting the damage were more concerned about persons being struck by BBs than damage to the windows as they are being replaced as part of a rehabilitation project;
11:29 p.m.: noise complaint, Washington House, 16 Washington St., an off-duty community policing officer reports she heard from a caller who reported that a neighbor’s loud music is disturbing her peace, the responding officer reports there was no answer at the door, the CPO reports that she spoke with the resident the next day and advised her of numerous past noise complaints, the CPO reports the tenant said that she was unaware that she was creating a problem, the resident said that the night before she did not hear the officer knocking because she had taken her sleeping pills and fallen asleep with the radio on.
