4:37 p.m.: Accident, Southwick Road and Tannery Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2006 Toyota Corolla that resulted in injuries. Police were told of the accident via OnStar. According to police, one driver had a mouth injury and Westfield Fire paramedics responded to the scene. The paramedics transported the injured party to Baystate Noble via ambulance. Both vehicles required a tow truck.
5:21 p.m.: Medical–animal bite, Francis Street. Police received a report of a woman who was reportedly bitten by a pot-belly pig. According to police, the pig–which was a pet of the family–had bitten a woman on her ankle. The woman was transported to Baystate Noble for treatment via Westfield Fire ambulance and paramedics.
