12:20 a.m.: liquor law violation, Cherry Street at Mechanic Street, a patrol supervisor reports he observed a male party concealing something under his arm and when asked the youth produced a bottle containing liquor, the young man was found to be younger than the legal drinking age and city ordinance violation citations for possession of an open container of alcohol in public and for being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor were issued;
1:37 a.m.: incapacitated person, Bartlett Street, a patrol officer responding to an alert to be on the lookout for a female party reports he encountered her vehicle on Bartlett Street occupied by a male party found to be too intoxicated to care for himself, the man was placed in protective custody;
1:43 a.m.: disturbance, Arnold Street, a caller reports a growing disturbance, the responding officers report a gathering was dispersed and a bag discarded by one of the participants was recovered and stored for safekeeping;
8:14 a.m.: vandalism, Security Manor, 47 Broad Street, an officer reports he was advised by a resident that an unknown party had introduced glue to his lock for an unknown reason;
8:48 a.m.: annoying phone calls, Broad Street, a caller reports that he is getting frequent annoying phone calls from a former friend, the responding officer reports the octogenarian victim said that he has been getting calls from his septuagenarian former girlfriend after he broke up with her and then found a new girlfriend;
10:07 a.m.: parking violation, Church Street, a patrol officer reports he encountered eight vehicles parked on Church Street in violation of the snow emergency parking ban and issued citations, similar issues were addressed on Chapel Street (3), West School Street, Sycamore Street, Avery Street, Bush Street, Fowler Street and Ashley Street;
1:46 p.m.: parking violation, Chapel Street, a patrol officer reports two vehicles parked in violation of the snow emergency parking ban are still in place and are obstructing snow removal efforts, the officer noted that there was no response to a warning he issued with a loudspeaker, the cars were towed to the police impound yard, a vehicle interfering with snow plowing was also towed on Summer Street;
3:02 p.m.: larceny, Springfield Road, a caller from a Springfield Road department store reports two girls stole merchandise and left the store, the responding officer reports the girls were not identified but the vehicle they left in was identified and will be investigated;
3:36 p.m.: vehicular larceny, Montgomery Road, a resident came to the station to report that her boyfriend’s car was stolen, the responding officer reports the complainant said that her incarcerated boyfriend asked her to check his vehicle and when she went to the property where he left it the property owner said that the unregistered car was stolen some time ago but not reported;
10:00 p.m.: incapacitated person, Monroe Street, a patrol supervisor reports he encountered a male party laying partly in the roadway and found the 17-year-old youth to be intoxicated, the boy was provide a courtesy transport to his Main Street home and surrendered to the custody of his mother.
