12:27 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Arnold Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the operator’s license was found to be revoked, the vehicle was surrendered to the custody of a licensed operator;
7:58 a.m.: assist resident, Pearl Street, a caller reports her former boyfriend is at her apartment and is no longer welcome, the responding officer notes that the resident had called at 3:40 a.m. to report the man assaulted her but changed her account and was uncooperative when police arrived, the officer reports the woman was again claiming to have been assaulted, the man was reported to be cooperative and left the apartment;
8:28 a.m.: well-being check, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a man lightly dressed and wearing shorts despite the wind chill, the officer reports that the man said he was fine and was waiting for the library to open;
10:58 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Sunbriar Drive, a patrol officer reports that he seized registration plates from a parked vehicle found to have revoked registration plates, a notice was left on the windshield;
2:18 p.m.: fire, Clark Street, a caller reports a fire in a second floor bedroom, dual reponse dispatched, the responding deputy fire chief reports the fire started by an unattended candle was knocked down quickly, the firefighters cleared the scene within an hour and the family returned to their home;
6:16 p.m.: incapacitated person, East Main Street, a caller from an East Main Street restaurant reports a woman left in the restaurant about 20 minutes earlier is nodding off and in danger of falling out of her chair, the caller said that when staff has approached the woman she has said that she is waiting for her food but she had not ordered anything, the responding officer reports a routine check revealed that the woman was the subject of two outstanding warrants issued in 2013 by Springfield District Court, Danielle M. Dernago, 31, of 44 Littleton St., Springfield, was arrested on the warrants;
9:59 p.m.: liquor law violation, Washington Street, auxiliary officers report two people were seen walking through the police station parking lot and one was carrying what was found to be a full can of beer when the officers spoke with the two young men in the parking lot of a nearby apartment building, the other young man was seen to urinate in the parking lot, both were issued city ordinance violation citations for their respective infractions;
11:43 p.m.: disturbance, Woronoco Avenue, a caller reports a large gathering somewhere on Woronoco Avenue, the responding officer reports that he arrived to find auxiliary officers dealing with parking issues, the officer reports that a check revealed prior complaints of college-aged parties at the address and four tenants were issued city ordinance violation citations for excessive noise, in addition, the auxiliary officers issued citations from parked vehicles which were parked facing traffic.
