7:13 a.m.: breaking and entering, Holyoke Road, a caller reports he returned home to find a window broken and a back door ajar, the responding officer reports the victim said that he came home to find a window of his door had been broken to gain access, the man said that the contents of his house had been disturbed and property had been stolen;,
7:31 a.m.; larceny, Greenwood Street, a caller reports his snowblower was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the caller said that a gas grill and a snowblower which had been stored next to his home were stolen between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.;
12:21 p.m.: threat to commit a crime, Elm Street, a female resident came to the station to report that she was threatened in reference to an ongoing legal case and was advised at Westfield District Court to report the threat to police;
1:10 p.m.: breaking and entering, Francis St., a caller reports a relative’s home was broken into and property was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that he checked the house and found that some time since Sunday a door window had been broken to gain access, the officer reports that parts of the house were ransacked and jewelry was stolen;
3:45 p.m.: Westfield Shops, East Main Street, a caller reports that three occupants of a vehicle at the shopping center were masked, the responding officer reports that three youths wearing gas masks were informed that their actions had been of legitimate concern to others and were advised to desist;
3:45 p.m.: fire, Little River Road, a caller reports that a neighbor is burning brush and trash, the responding officer reports that firefighters advised the resident of the pertinent city ordinances and ensured that the fire was extinguished;
11:20 p.m.: accident, Sandy Hill Road, a caller reports a single vehicle crash, the responding officer reports he arrived a find a vehicle on a lawn but the operator was not injured, the officer detected an odor of alcohol about the young female operator who failed a field sobriety test, Heather Lutservitz, 17, of 60 Furrowtown Road, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.
