5:36 a.m.: Threat to commit a crime, Southampton Road. Police received a walk-in complaint from someone who said that their family member had received a threatening note on their car the night prior. Police had no suspects but did have a possible lead. No further information available.

7:36 a.m.: Animal complaint, Pine Street. Police received a report of an injured skunk that was wandering in circles in front of a home on Pine Street. The resident there could not enter their home due to the skunk. Police responded prior to animal control and determined that the animal needed to be killed. Police did so and animal control was called to retrieve the body.

7:47 a.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Holyoke Road and Springdale Road. Police received a report of a two-car accident involving a 2004 Ford F150 and a 2003 Mazda Protege that had injuries. Police also requested two tow trucks for the vehicles. One person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital with injuries.

9:46 a.m.: Vandalism, Main Street. While a person was shopping at a store on Main Street, police reported that her car was keyed. They had no suspects at the time of the report.

2:15 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Little River Road. Police received a report from an off-duty Northampton officer who witnessed a two-car accident involving a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander and a 2000 Ford Escort. It was reported that the Escort ran a red light and T-boned the Uplander. No injuries were reported.

4:19 p.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a complaint that a check was cashed and bounced for a total of $1,300, unbeknownst to the account holder. Police did not make any arrests at the time of the report.

4:28 p.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, Southwick Road and Radisson Lane. Police stopped Christopher J. Affenito, 43, of Westfield, after noticing that he was operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Police arrested him for operating a motor vehicle with a licensed revoked.

5:34 p.m.: Accident, White Street. Police received a report of a child who was riding their bike and ran into the back of a vehicle. The child was looking back for a friend when she struck the vehicle. The child was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital and the child’s parent was notified.

6:37 p.m.: Shoplifting, Wal-Mart, Springfield Road. Police received a report of a female who left the store with multiple clothing and jewelry items. Loss prevention officers at Wal-Mart witnessed the suspect get into a vehicle and drive off, toward West Springfield. No arrest at the time of the report.
