1:16 a.m.: incapacitated person, Avery Street, a patrol office reports he observed a male party lying motionless in a driveway, the officer reports that when he approached he found the man to be asleep and snoring loudly, the man was awakened and appeared to be highly intoxicated, the man said that he had been drinking a lot and a friend dropped him off but he could not explain why he was sleeping in the driveway, the man was placed in protective custody;
5:29 a.m.: fire, Beverly Drive, a caller reports smoke in the area, the responding firefighters report persons were extinguishing a camp fire when they arrived;
10:00 a.m.: assist citizen, Orange Street, a caller requests assistance recovering her daughter’s belongings from the girl’s father’s residence, the responding officer reports the woman was able to collect the property without incident;
11:27 a.m.: larceny, a Belchertown resident came to the station to report he was victimized by a person selling a vehicle on-line, the responding officer reports the complainant said that he had made a down payment on a car but the seller has not followed through, the incident remains under investigation;
2:09 p.m.: suspicious person, East Silver Street, a representative of the owner of an East Main Street property complains that homeless persons have set up an encampment on the property, the responding officer reports he identified two person who sere served with ‘No trespassing’ orders;
2:42 p.m.: fire, Hampton Ponds State Park, a caller reports a rubbish receptacle is on fire, the responding firefighters report the fire in the trash bin was extinguished;
2:45 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle he had been advised to be on the lookout for and stopped it, the operator’s license was found to have been revoked as an habitual traffic offender, Kenneth A. Fish, 33, of 37 Fairfield Ave., Holyoke, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as an habitual traffic offender, during the booking process he was found to be in possession of credit cards belonging to other persons which he did not explain, that investigation is ongoing;
4:34 p.m.: recreational vehicle complaint, Robinson Drive, a caller reports that a neighbor is having a party and guests are trespassing on his property with ATVs and dirt bikes, the responding officer reports that all the motorized vehicles were parked upon his arrival, the officer reports he advised the resident of the complaint and told him that additional complaints could result in citation;
4:44 p.m.: incapacitated person, Court Street, a caller reports an intoxicated person is sitting in his own vomit, the responding officer reports a Granby resident was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself and was placed in protective custody;
5:08 p.m.: fire, Sycamore Street, a caller reports a back yard fire is spreading noxious fumes into her home, the responding firefighters report the resident agreed to extinguish the fire;
7:09 p.m.: breaking and entering, Clifton Street, a caller reports his home was broken into and he is afraid to enter in case somebody is still there, the responding officer reports the caller said that a work trailer had been entered and he investigated to find nobody there, the victim said that tools valued at several thousand dollars had been stolen;
8:07 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, North Road at Southampton Road, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating on the wrong side of North Road, the vehicle was stopped and its registration was found to be expired, the vehicle was towed;
8:17 p.m.: arrest, Court Street, a patrol officer reps he observed a person believed to be the subject f an outstanding warrant, the warrant was confirmed, Isac Robert Hernandez, 20, of no known address, was arrested on the warrant;

7:58 a.m.: animal complaint, Pineridge Drive, a caller reports a bat is in her house, the responding director of animal control operations reports the bat was removed;
9:35 a.m.: larceny, Henry’s Trailer Park, 868 Southampton Road, a caller reports her mother’s propane tank was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that her mother has been living elsewhere for the past six months and she checked the trailer recently and found a large propane tank used to fuel the gas stove is gone, the woman said that the tank was stolen in the past six months;
10:04 a.m.: vandalism, Stanley Park, 400 Western Ave., a park security officer called to report vandalism to a flower bed, the responding officer reports the park manager told him that a witness reported seeing a female party take roses valued at about $150 from a flower bed and leave in a vehicle for which the witness provided a registration number, the officer reports the vehicle is registered to a West Springfield resident and he left a phone message for the owner;
12:58 p.m.: breaking and entering, Eastwood Drive, a detective reports that his investigation into a previous incident of breaking and entering in which a West Springfield resident was found inside a house in the city and when arrested said that he had walked to the neighborhood and was planning to walk away from it, the detective reports that his investigation led him to a Holyoke Road resident who said that the man had called her asking for a ride and she had dropped him off at a street corner , she said she did not know why he wanted to be in the neighborhood, the detective reports he found that the woman had spoken with the man on her phone while he was in the residence where he was arrested, a criminal complaint for breaking and entering as a joint venture was filed;
5:23 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Main Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
7:55 p.m.: vandalism, Susan Drive, a caller reports a window of his home was vandalized earlier in the day, the responding officer reports the caller said that the only person he can think of who might bear animosity toward him is a person with whom he has been involved in a court case but said that there is no evidence to link that person to the vandalism;
8:50 p.m.: assist citizen, North Elm Street, a caller report she is locked out of his vehicle, the responding firefighters report entry was made.
