5:33 p.m.: Recreational vehicle complaint and arrest, Elm Street. Police reportedly found a man riding a snowmobile in the roadway. Police followed the driver, Steven W. Cornelius, 45, of Westfield, after he initially did not stop for police. Police eventually arrested Cornelius and charged him with on snow/recreational vehicle in a public way, unsafe/negligent operation of a snow/recreational vehicle and failure to stop for police on a snow/recreational vehicle.
