9:36 a.m.: vandalism, School Street, a caller reports graffiti has been applied to a building, the responding officer reports the caller said that a tag had been applied to vinyl siding with a permanent marker some time since midnight;
1:45 p.m.: animal complaint, Montgomery Street, a caller reports she has taken custody of a stray black Labrador retriever dog, the responding animal control officer reports he took custody of the dog and transported it to the municipal animal shelter;
3:57 p.m.: larceny, Kittredge Drive, a caller reports she left food items with her mail for pickup by her postal carrier but after the food disappeared she spoke with a letter carrier who said he did not collect it;
4:36 p.m.: animal complaint, Lynnwood Drive, a caller reports she has taken custody of a stray black Labrador retriever mix dog, the responding animal control officer reports he took custody of the dog and transported it to the municipal animal shelter;
7:14 p.m.: disturbance, Valley View Drive, a caller reports she was assaulted by her boyfriend, the responding officer reports the woman said she was assaulted and he observed signs of injury, Jeremy H. Bradley, 25, of 259 Valley View Drive, was arrested for assault and battery in a domestic relationship;

Midnight: animal complaint, Taylor Avenue, a caller reports a person has taken his dog and refuses to return it, the responding officer reports he was told conflicting accounts about how the person with the dog came to have custody, the officer advised both parties that the director of animal control operations would speak with them;
2:52 a.m.: noise complaint, Orange Street, a patrol officer reports he found one person who provided false identification information but he persevered and found that the man was the subject of two outstanding warrant under his true name, Jason Rodriguez, 28, of 86 Orange St., was arrested on two warrants dating to 2006 and 2008;
9:23 a.m.: animal complaint, Rachael Terrace, a caller reports a rabid fox in his back yard, the responding office reports he found two fox cubs which were trying to hide and apparently were waiting for their mother to return, the officer reports the caller was advised of rabies symptoms and urged to leave the cubs alone and let their mother care for them;
11:35 a.m.: larceny, King Street, a resident came to the station to report that her registration fell or was stolen from her vehicle;
2:45 p.m.: found property, West Silver Street, a resident came to the station to surrender a driver’s license found on West Silver Street, the responding officer reports the owner could not be immediately located and the license was held at the station for safe keeping;
5:37 p.m.: found property, Main Street, a person came to the station to surrender a wallet found on Free Street, the responding officer reports the owner could not be immediately located and the wallet was held at the station for safe keeping;
5:57 p.m.: fire, Bancroft Apartments, 125 Main St., an automatic fire alarm indicated a fire at the apartment building, the responding deputy fire chief reports heavy smoke in the basement upon arrival and found that a gas fired clothes dryer had started a laundry fire, the gas supply was interrupted and the smoke was ventilated from the building;
6:01 p.m.: vandalism, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he observed that two glass panels at a gas station’s bay door had been shattered, the officer reports the owner does not require a formal report but wants the damage documented;
10:04 p.m.: assault, Meadow Street, a caller reports a woman was punched by her brother, the responding officer reports both parties appeared to be intoxicated, the male party said that his sister attempted to slap him and lost her balance causing her to fall, the officer reports the woman’s injury was consistent with a fall but not a punch, no charges were filed;
10:31 p.m.: disturbance, Colonial Pine Acres, 50 Southampton Road, a caller reports a disturbance, the responding officer reports a resident said that she was confronted by a neighbor who claimed she had stolen money, a physical altercation ensued, no charges were filed.
