1:06 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Noble Street, a caller reports a vehicle which left an East Main Street gas station appears to have been involved in an accident and the operator appears to be intoxicated, the responding officer reports automotive parts were found in the road near the intersection of Little River Road and East Main Street where a street sign has been damaged, the vehicle was found and stopped on Noble Street, the operator was found to be intoxicated, William Michael McGrath, 27, of 22 Pearl St., was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a property damage accident;
2:27 a.m.: suspicious persons, Morris Avenue, a patrol officer reports he observed two person walking who appeared to be nervous and concerned to see a police cruiser, the officer spoke with the two persons and found one was in possession of a marijuana pipe containing residue, a city ordinance violation citation was filed;
12:23 p.m.: disturbance, North Elm Street, a caller reports a disturbance, the responding officer reports a routine check of the participants revealed that one was the subject of outstanding warrants, Kelly Murphy, 26, of 47 Sunapee St., Springfield was arrested on warrants from 2010 and 2011;
1:11 p.m.: found property, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports finding a wallet, a message was left for the owner and the wallet was transported to the station for safe keeping;
4:05 p.m.: fire, Birch Road, a caller reports his vehicle is fully engulfed in flames, dual response dispatched, the responding firefighters report the vehicle was fully involved upon arrival and the fire was extinguished, the responding officer reports the resident said that he had been welding on the vehicle when the interior ignited;
6:07 p.m.: fraud, Modna Circle, a resident came to the station to report that her bank had advised her of a debit card transaction in New Mexico which was made without her knowledge and consent;
9:53 p.m.: disturbance, North Elm Street, a caller reports a disturbance at a North Elm Street bar, the responding officer reports that a bouncer escorting a patron away from the establishment was assaulted and suffered head and facial injuries for which the victim declined to be transported to the hospital for treatment.
