9:53 a.m.: Larceny, 33 Smith Ave., Westfield Technical Academy. According to the report, a student reported that their belongings were stolen from a locker at the school. No arrests made.

10:56 a.m.: Accident, car versus bicycle, Maple St. and Franklin St. intersection. A man was riding his bicycle in a crosswalk and was hit by a driver operating a 2004 Pontiac Gran Am. An ambulance was requested but no one was transported to the hospital.

11:14 a.m.: Suspicious activity, Taylor Ave. According to a resident on the street, there may have been activity involving a possible breaking and entering. Per the police report, the motion sensor lights on the home have been unscrewed, and they are unsure who did it.

11:18 a.m.: Larceny, 57 Main St., Stop and Shop. Stop and Shop security reported an act of shoplifting with a vehicle description. According to the report, the shoplifter “got away with approximately $60 in product.” No arrests were noted at time of report.

1:13 p.m.: Larceny, 33 Smith Ave., Westfield Technical Academy. More property was reported stolen at the school. According to report, a student placed their wallet on the ground and it was no longer there upon them returning to the spot.

4:11 p.m.: Breaking and entering, Prospect St. Extension. A couple reported to police that both of their vehicles were “gone through during the overnight hours.” No items were reported stolen.

6:08 p.m.: Attempted breaking and entering, Highland View St. A resident reported to police that “someone attempted to gain access to her residence.” At the time of the report, no arrests were noted.
