Major crime and incident log 

Tuesday, May 9, 2017 

6:55 a.m.: Larceny, Collins Street. Police received a report that following a resident allowing someone stay at their residence, $45 was allegedly missing following the visitor’s departure. Police are investigating. 

11:30 a.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a report of a home that was allegedly entered and items were missing. The home was reportedly on Granville Road. Police are investigating. 

7:29 p.m.: Suspicious person arrest, North Road. Police received a report of two suspicious males that were reportedly going “door to door looking for a taxi to go to West Springfield due to their unregistered vehicle being towed.” Police arrived and requested a taxi for the two parties. In addition, police found that one of the males, Vladimir Petrovic Kindzerskiy, 39, of Agawam, reportedly had a warrant out for their arrest, which he was arrested for. 

8:10 p.m.: Vandalism motor vehicle, Walmart, Springfield Road. Police received a report of a vehicle’s tire that was slashed in the Walmart parking lot. Police are investigating.
