3:32 p.m.: vandalism, Phelps Avenue, a caller’s issue was undetermined due to a language barrier but the responding officer reports the caller was able to indicate that another person had broken a door at his home, the officer reports a suspect at the address said that he threw his cell phone at the door (breaking the glass) because he was intoxicated, Rudra P. Kafley, 27, of 17 Summer St., Apt. 1, Westfield, was arrested for vandalizing property;
6:00 p.m.: larceny, Campanelli Drive, a representative of a distribution center reports an over-the-road trailer is missing, the responding officer reports the empty trailer was last known to be in place September 8.
