12:01 a.m.: assault, Southampton Road, a caller from a bar reports he was assaulted by a customer, the responding officer reports that the caller said that he had been punched by a male party who left the area;
12:12 a.m.: disturbance, Orange Street, a caller reports a large college-aged disturbance in the street, the responding officer reports a party involving more than 130 people was dispersed, the officer reports city ordinance violation citations were served to five of the seven tenants and he returned later to serve the two tenants who had not been in evidence during the disturbance;
6:39 a.m.: weather complaint, White Street, a caller reports a tree is down in the street, the responding officer reports half of the roadway is blocked, the DPW was notified and dispatched a crew;
10:20 a.m.: larceny, Union Street, a caller reports a roommate has taken his property, the responding officer reports the caller said that property is missing but could not provide any evidence regarding who took it;
1:49 p.m.: suspicious person, Lockhouse Road, a caller reports a that a female party entered her home and when confronted said that she is offering free rug shampooing, the woman left on foot and the officer reports a search of the area did not yield any suspects;
3:13 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street at Bartlett Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the operator’s license was found to have been suspended, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
8:04 p.m.: suspicious person, Chapel Street, a caller reports somebody appears to be sleeping in a car, the responding officer reports he found a male party who was sleeping in his daughter’s car with her permission because he has no other place to go, the man said that he also has permission from the property owner to sleep in his daughter’s car and will be leaving the city in the morning.
