1:26 a.m.: disturbance, Meadow Street at White Street, a caller reports a domestic disturbance, the responding officer reports a routine check of the parties revealed that one was the subject of an outstanding warrant, Jessica Hale, 29, of 42 Sunnymeade Ave., Chicopee, was arrested on the warrant;
7:50 a.m.: vandalism, Orange Street, a caller reports the rear window of her vehicle was smashed out overnight, the responding officer reports that the victim said that nothing was taken from he vehicle, no projectile was found;
9:10 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, City Hall, 59 Court St. a patrol officer reports he encountered a motor vehicle parked at City Hall with expired registration, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
9:46 a.m.: larceny, Samaritan Inn, 7 Free St., a caller reports the registration plates were stolen from his vehicle overnight, the responding officer reports both plates were stolen while the vehicle was parked in the shelter’s parking lot;
10:22 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Springfield Road, a patrol officer requests a tow for a vehicle found to have expired registration, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
12:09 p.m.: larceny, Little River Road, a resident came to the station to report his checks were stolen, the responding officer reports the man said that he was notified by a merchant that a check was returned for lack of funds but said that he did not write the check;
3:25 p.m.: city ordinance violation, Shepard Street, a code enforcement officer and a city building inspector investigated a complaint of unregistered motor vehicles, the officer reports three unregistered motor vehicles were found and he addressed the issue with the owner;
3:50 p.m.: city ordinance violation, Shepard Street, a code enforcement officer and a city building inspector investigated a complaint of unregistered motor vehicles, the officer reports numerous unregistered motor vehicles were found and he will continue the investigation during the coming week;
4:09 p.m.: larceny, Crescent Circle, a resident came to the station to report that firearms may have been stolen from him, the responding officer reports the man said that he allowed his new wife’s daughter and her friend to stay at his home after they were released from a rehabilitation program and since then he has discovered items to be missing, the man said that a pistol and a long gun are among the items missing, the case was referred to the detective bureau;
4:57 p.m.: loitering, Park Square, a patrol officer reports he observed there youths riding skateboards at Park Square and two fled upon his approach, the officer reports he ran down the boys and one was very uncooperative, hostile and insulting, the officer reports the boys have previously been warned about riding skateboards at the Green and a city ordinance violation was issued, the boy’s skateboard was seized as evidence;
6:23 p.m.: animal complaint, Southampton Road, a caller reports a deer ran into the path of her vehicle and was struck, the responding officer reports the car suffered extensive damage and was towed, the deer was found to have been killed by the encounter;
7:58 p.m.: larceny, Powder Mill Village, 126 Union Street, a detective investigating an unrelated matter reports a resident said that jewelry was stolen from her apartment, the officer reports he learned that the resident had allowed a couple to stay at her apartment while she was in hospital for about a month but the complex management asked them to leave while she was away, the woman said that when she returned she found jewelry valued at about $400 was missing, the suspects were identified and the case was referred to the detective bureau;
8:57 p.m.: breaking and entering, The Willows Apartments, 19 Lockhouse Road, a caller reports his storage unit was broken into, the responding officer reports the man said that he found his storage unit had been entered and power tools and other property valued at about $2,500 were stolen, the man said that he saw doors to other storage units were open and they may have been broken into too;
11:54 p.m.: liquor law violation, Mechanic Street, a community policing officer reports he observed a college aged youth walking on Mechanic Street with a backpack, the officer approached the man who said that he was 20 years-old when asked, the officer asked the man what was in his backpack and the man said there was nothing but upon further questioning admitted there was beer in his backpack, 11 cans of beer were seized and a city ordinance violation citation was issued.
