8:47 a.m.: assault, Main Street, a caller reports he was punched in the face by a known person with whom he has ongoing issues, the responding officer reports search of the area did not yield the suspect, the victim was transported to Noble Hospital for treatment and a criminal complaint was filed;
9:40 a.m.: found property, Main Street, a caller reports a bicycle in disrepair has been found on the property, the bike was transported to the station for safe keeping;
1:11 p.m.: larceny, Fairway Apartments, 549 Russell Road, a resident came to the station to report jewelry was stolen from her home, the responding officer reports that the complainant said that a considerable amount of jewelry was stolen although no signs of forcible entry were found;
2:27 p.m.: larceny, Fairway Apartments, 549 Russell Road, a resident came to the station to report jewelry was stolen from her home, the responding officer reports that the complainant said that jewelry between Oct. 12-21 was stolen although no signs of forcible entry were found;
3:58 p.m.: burning complaint, Montgomery Street, a caller reports seeing smoke behind a neighbor’s house, the responding firefighters report unauthorized burning was extinguished;
5:43 p.m.: breaking and entering, East Silver Street, a caller reports his vehicle was broken into and property was stolen, the responding officer reports the man said that cash and credit cards were stolen;
6:51 p.m.: larceny, North Elm Street, a resident came to the station to report her registration plates were stolen, the responding officer reports the woman said that during her workday both the front and rear plates were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at her workplace;
7:33 p.m.: identity fraud, Janelle Drive, a resident reports via the online reporting option that she discovered fraudulent debits on her credit card and the account was closed;
8:51 p.m.: disturbance, Edgewood Apartments, 134 Union St., a caller reports neighbors appear to be fighting, the responding officer reports the female resident said that an altercation developed between herself and the father of her child who took her cellphone and left, the woman said that she attempted to lock the man out of her apartment but when he returned he made forcible entry and choked her, the officer reports he observed red marks on the woman’s body and a witness supported her account, Christian M. Burton-Hill, 28, of 30 Ritten House Terrace, Springfield, was arrested for assault and battery in a domestic relationship;
10:30 p.m.: assist citizen, a caller requests assistance retrieving his keys from a sewer drain, the responding firefighters report that they were able to secure the keys for the caller;

1:03 a.m.: disturbance, Elm Street, a caller reports hearing a couple arguing loudly in an Elm Street parking lot, the responding officer reports he arrived to find a female party punching and kicking a man who was trying to fend her off, the man told the officer that when he exited the building he observed the woman waiting in her car and attempted to leave but the woman rammed his vehicle with her car and when he climbed over the center console to exit the vehicle the woman assaulted him, Erin Mary McNamara, 41, of 33 Elm St., was arrested of assault and battery in a domestic relationship, vandalizing property and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon;
1:24 a.m.: disturbance, North Elm Street, a bar employee reports a fight, the responding officer reports he was told that when a bouncer separated two women who were fighting two of the supporters of one of the women assaulted him, the officer reports that all the involved persons were served ‘No trespassing’ orders, no charges were filed;
10:41 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he encountered a parked vehicle with expired registration, the plates were seized and the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
11:17 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Moseley Avenue, a patrol officer reports he observed a truck on a lawn with registration which was found to have been cancelled, the plates were seized;
11:58 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Main Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired and the vehicle was towed;
2:20 p.m.: animal complaint, Powdermill Village, 126 Union St., the animal control officer reports she took custody of a stray small black dog and transported it to the municipal animal shelter;
4:26 p.m.: disturbance, Westfield Soup Kitchen, 101 Meadow Street, a caller reports a client is creating a disturbance, the responding officer reports two patrons exchanged words relative to an earlier incident and one made a threat, that man was server a ‘No trespassing” order;
5:26 p.m.: accident, Elm Street, a caller reports a pedestrian was stuck by a car which fled the scene, the responding officer reports the victim was able to walk to a nearby gas station, the man was transported to Noble Hospital where he was treated and released;
9:37 p.m.: violation of a protective order, a resident came to the station to complain that the defendant of a protective order has violated the ‘No contact’ clause of the order by sending her a message via a social networking website, the responding officer reports that he found that the message had been sent before the man was served with the order.
