7:07 a.m. : larceny, Phillips Avenue, a resident came to the station to complain that cash was stolen from his home, the responding officer reports the complainant said that about $250 was stolen from his home and that he suspects cleaning staff may be responsible;
11:30 a.m.: animal complaint, Westfield Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Way, the director of animal control operations reports a person came to the shelter to surrender a yellow Labrador retriever dog about three years old;
12:48 p.m.: harassment, Park Square Town Houses, 140 Union St., a resident came to the station to complain of harassment by a known party, the responding officer reports that the complainant said that the known party has made unwelcome postings about her on a social networking website and also came to her residence once and pounded on her vehicle while she was inside it, the officer documented the woman’s complaints and advised her that she could seek a harassment protection order at Westfield District Court;
2:08 p.m.: arrest, Southampton Road, an officer reports he learned that two persons staying at a Southampton Road motel were the subjects of outstanding warrants, the warrants were confirmed and the men were found at the motel, Craig J. Centracchio, 27 of 160 Point Grove Road, Southwick, was arrested on a warrant and Curtis J. Centraccio, 27, of 2 Southampton Road, was arrested on two warrants;
4:55 p.m.: found property, Court Street, a resident came to the station to surrender a Taser, the responding officer reports the man said that he had been asked to deliver the Taser to police by a fellow Marine veteran who said that he wanted to surrender the weapon anonymously because believes he has post traumatic stress disorder and should not have the Taser, the Taser was logged as found property;
7:00 p.m.: larceny, Main Street, a caller from a Main Street supermarket reports a male party stole meat and fled on a bicycle, the responding officer reports the store’s loss prevention officer said that he was not certain if the man stole anything until he reviewed the security video, a search of the area did not yield a suspect.
