Midnight: disturbance, Shepard Street, multiple callers report a group of college aged youths are fighting and yelling, the responding officers report a male party attempted to crash a party and a physical altercation ensued, the suspect reportedly used brass knuckles to assault two persons and punched a vehicle causing damage, Shadique Travon Walker, 22, of 152 Leward Loop, Columbia, S.C., was arrested on two charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and charges of carrying a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and malicious damage to a motor vehicle;
2:29 a.m.: disturbance, Holland Avenue, a caller reports a college related disturbance, the three responding officers report a gathering was dispersed;
11:53 a.m.: larceny, Springfield Road, a caller from a Springfield Road department store reports a male party entered the store with empty store bags which he filled with clothing before fleeing the store, the responding officer reports that the suspect had left the area in a described vehicle;
4:42 p.m.: disturbance Miller Street, a called reported to a State Police dispatcher that her daughter was pushed over but did not stay on the line when the call was transferred to a city dispatcher, the responding officer reports the participants were involved in a domestic disturbance but none of them wish to pursue criminal charges.
