7:39 a.m.: breaking and entering, Harrison Avenue, a caller reports someone broke into his unlocked vehicle and his wallet was stolen, the responding office reports unsuccessful attempts were made to use the victim’s credit card, the officer reports a second unlocked vehicle was entered but the second victim said that since only loose change and over-the-counter medications were stolen she does not require a formal report but wants the incident documented;
12:04 p.m.: animal complaint, Whitaker Road, a called reports an injured owlet, the responding animal control officer reports she took custody of the bird and transported it to the municipal animal shelter for transfer to a wildlife rehabilitator;
12:25 p.m.: animal complaint, Taylor Avenue, a called reports a kitten was found the night before, the responding animal control officer reports she took custody of the fluffy black and white kitten and transported it to the municipal animal shelter;
2:13 p.m.: larceny, Mechanic Street, a patrol officer reps he was flagged down by a resident, the officer reports the man said that his unsecured bicycle was stolen, a suspect was identified;
9:00 p.m.: found property, Park Square, a person came to the station to surrender a cell phone found on the city’s Green, the owner of the phone was not identified and it was stored for safe keeping.
