1:07 p.m.: arrest, Southampton Road, officers sought the subject of three outstanding warrants at his last known address and the man fled when confronted and the man was chased down. David M. Bettro, 34, of 868 Southampton Road, Apt. 72, Westfield, was arrested on the three warrants issued in 2016 by the Springfield District Court, in addition, officers executed a warrant at the man’s residence and as a result Bettro was also charged with two counts of armed and masked robbery, two counts of reckless endangerment of a child and a charge of resisting arrest, see story in the Sept. 20 edition of The Westfield News;
2:20 p.m.: vandalism, Court Street, a caller from a business reports three vehicles owned by employees were keyed, the responding officer reports a review of security video did not immediately identify a suspect.
