Southwick, congratulations on your town war memorial, on the update projects that are going to be taking place. It’s good to see someone notices the memorial sitting there and likes to walk over and take a look at it. I enjoy it myself. I’d feel a lot better if somebody would update the names on the war memorial, as some of these veterans have passed away and their name still isn’t there, along with some of us that are still hanging around and hoping to see our name there. It was just a thought. Maybe someone will step up to the plate and do this project. Thank you.

I don’t know if any of our city fathers there, the city councilors or anybody like that or maybe even the DPW head there honcho, the big cheese, ya know? Has anybody driven up on 187? I know they’re gonna do major work and stuff like that but I thought a contractor was supposed to leave a roadway in the same condition they found it when they’re done doing a hole. There are so many dips and grooves and the road is collapsing in certain spots. What’s it gonna take – somebody to hit one of them dips and crash into a tree and kill themselves before anybody fixes the road? I was just driving through the Green there in Westfield. They’re putting up more lights. How much money has that lighting system, plus the traffic lights, cost the taxpayers of Westfield? And then one other thing, anybody out there, if you decided to go pay your Verizon phone bill at the Verizon store in Westfield. Well, number one, they charge you to do that at the store. And then you gotta have like a gazillion things of memory just to tell them everything. I spent 20 minutes down there and I could still not pay my son’s phone bill. I guess I’ll get a money order and mail it in. It’s cheaper and less aggravating. Way to go, Verizon store in Westfield!
