I can’t believe that this paper did not follow up on the two accidents on north rd in two days dec 11 & 12 .one knocked out power for 4 to 5 hours and the other one shut down the road for about 10 hours. there where serious injuries in both cases with massive response from the police fire and electric …just another instance of the north side doesn’t seem to exist as far as this paper or the city government is concerned…
We had stories on our website, www.thewestfieldnews.com, on both incidents. The accident Saturday evening on North Rd was on our web site less than 30 minutes after it happened. The Westfield Police Dept. would not comment further on either incident. As more information becomes available we will provide it to our readers.
