Please be advised that Governor Deval L. Patrick has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth flag be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings from sunrise until sunset on Friday, January 18, 2013 in honor of Pfc. Antonio Syrakos of Lynn who died January 10, 2013. This gubernatorial order applies to: 1.  The main or administration building of each public institution of the Commonwealth, e.g. town and city halls 2. Other state-owned or state-controlled buildings 3.  All state military installations

People, people, people: I don’t know who you are and I’m kinda glad but I guess you don’t realize that when you live in a neighborhood and you surround your house with trucks, tractors, boats, junk cars, old lawn mowers, snow blowers, whatever you can get your hands on to drag back home, you’re taking down the property value of your neighbors.  Don’t you have any consideration for your neighbors?

Hi. I wonder why the government in Taxachusetts never, ever, considers putting a tax on booze. And by booze I mean beer, wine and liquor. Thank you for taking my call today.

Hi. I really enjoy reading the PulseLine and I even call in once in a while, seeing as I don’t know how to use a computer, and I appreciate you taking phone calls again, but I thought everything was supposed to be confidential? I see here in one article that you have caller ID and you use technology to submit electronically the person who sends in an email. Are we still assured that everything we say is totally confidential and won’t get out of your office doors? Thank you. We know every phone number that calls us and every person who e-mails us but we don’t print them unless the person submitting it wants us to. If you notice, we didn’t print your name or number.
