I can’t believe how many cops I see breaking the same traffic laws that they give out tickets for. Fail to stop at red lights and stop signs, speeding through downtown Westfield with no concern for public safety failing to use a turn signal. I saw one parked next to a fire hydrant while inside Westfield bank doing his banking. Why is it OK for them to break the law? Perhaps I see 3 or four police cars sitting across from Tommy D’s or in the Getty parking lot.  They should be studying the mass driving laws.  As we have stated in the past, if you see an officer doing something questionable, please contact the supervisor at the Police Department.

Southwick: To whom it may concern because the cemetery commissioners don’t…  If you were to take a ride through the cemetery you would see how unsightly it has become. The past seven or eight years, the maintenance program has gone downhill. There are four adults mowing there five days a week, collecting 40 hours a week, and they can’t do the job correctly. I think it’s time the selectmen take a ride through and take matters into their own hands. These people mow but they can’t trim, they trim but they can’t mow – Is this part of their union contract?

Westfield spends all this money on roads, gazebos and clocks, but when are they going to do something about the skateboarders? The police, they just care about directing traffic to make their over-time pay; they don’t even fight crime anymore. Have you notified the Police Department of specific issues with the skateboarders?

Hi. I’m wondering if the residents of Honey Pot Road in Southwick miss their dirty, dusty, bumpy, pot-filled old road? Thanks.
