Yes, I’m taking a walk at Stanley Park gardens. They look very nice and neat. They cut down some big trees that were in the middle and there’s a few beds of annuals but it’s not like it used to be before. The mainstay of the garden is daylilies, daylilies, and more daylilies. What the heck? Where are all the beautiful flowers that they used to have? We believe the two trees you are referring to got struck by lightning in the last week or so and when they were cut down one was was found to be hollow. The folks at Stanley Park would appreciate you becoming a “Partner in Preservation” to help maintain the beautiful grounds. Please contact the park’s main office to find out how you can help.
