I was shocked to hear of hunger on college campuses and the need for a Westfield State food pantry for students, faculty, and employees of the university. I support the request to the Westfield community to assist in this effort, but if this is to be a community-wide project, the pantry should be made available to anyone in need, not just those in the college community.
