I couldn’t believe when I read that the city wants to spend 4 million dollars at the intersection of Notre Dame and North Elm St. The only things that need to be done are fixing the traffic light ( that according to the Westfield News Pulseline response last year-the part would be installed soon) and repaving a very small section of road in front of Mestek office building. Clay Hill has already been redone and most of North Elm St also… There are already sidewalks going up Clay Hill, on the side of Dunkin Donuts and going up Notre Dame . I thought the drainage had already been fixed at that intersection a few years ago. Why does this have to be redone??
