SOUTHWICK – The Southwick-Tolland Regional High School girls’ basketball team won for the second time in as many tries, improving to 2-0 with a 46-24 win over Commerce Thursday night.
Morgan Harriman led Southwick with 11 points.
“(We) played very tough defensively, and got out in transition pretty effectively tonight,” Southwick assistant coach Rick Harriman said.
In other games, the Southwick Junior Varsity squad also celebrated a victory, bouncing Commerce 39-5. Tori Richburg led the Rams with eight points.
