SOUTHWICK – The Southwick Regional School Class of 2021 is raising funds and asking the community to show their Rams pride at the same time.

Students are painting an “S” with the word Rams, as well as the Rams symbol, on driveways – or the location of the participant’s choosing – for $20 each.

The logos are painted with semi-permanent paint which typically lasts about a year. Funds will be used for “improving and adapting to the challenges of this school year and potentially hosting future events.”

Police Chief Kevin A. Bishop said the Southwick Police Department had the distinct honor of receiving the first paintings Nov. 4.

“I would like to thank the 2021 senior class for allowing the Southwick Police Department to have the honor of having the first ram painting done at our location,” Bishop said. “I now encourage all businesses and community members to reach out to the 2021 senior class and have their driveways done also.”

When the paintings were done, Bishop worked with the class to create the “Police Department Package” – three paintings for $50.
