SOUTHWICK – The Southwick-Tolland Regional High School cross country program enjoyed a successful day in a tri-meet with visiting Palmer and Monson.
Southwick 23, Monson 34; Palmer 25, Southwick 30
Jared Demaio (19:35) and Juan Fuentes (20:10) were the top two finishers for Southwick in a home tri-meet Wednesday, placing fifth and sixth overall. Rams’ Tyler Belisle (20:13), Matt Corrigan (21:15), and Sean Costello (21:19) rounded out the 8-10 spots.

Emily McKinney (21:06), Abigail Howe (21:36), Nabilah Khan (22:25), and Cassie White (23:08) – all Southwick girls’ cross country runners placed 2-5.
Chicopee Comp 3, Westfield 0
Ashley Clark (8 kills, 8 aces), Sasha Roberts (7 kills, 7 digs, 3 aces), and Kacey Legare (4 kills, 15 assists) helped spur Chicopee Comp’s 25-8, 29-27, 25-20 home victory.
Kelsey Johnstone played well for Westfield, finishing with 4 kills, 4 aces, and two blocks. Bombers’ Carolyn Dufraine had 12 digs.
